I love to Explore

It is so good to open the front door and venture out. Hearing the birds, the cars and buses going by and stopping for a coffee gives me so much joy. I am all smiles after Easter because it was so much fun. It was one of the best holidays we have had and its been an adjustment getting back into the school routine and normality. 

Yes I was a bit moany but then thought no. I still enjoyed spending time riding on buses and trains with my son, Henry and I going to the Cinema and walking along Oxford Street and visiting the Brooklands Museum stopping at a local Canal. 

It is good to have a lot of things to see and do. We went to see my Niece in a show and had a nice pub meal. I love pub food and could eat out in a pub everyday but it would be expensive if I did all the time but now and again, it is good. Its nice not to have to cook and today as I continue with this blog, we are having picky bits for our dinner. We do this on occasion and a great way to use up what we've got and I love testing different cafes. 

Yes I do tend to visit Costas or Starbucks, but I like the mini ones and independent cafes and not part of a chain sometimes and we found a good one in Oxford street.

It is good to explore a National Park and visit a farm or a Zoo and nature to me is a feel good activity and being near wildlife. 

I love going to the Garden centres and looking at the fish. I have taken Henry to the London Aquarium but since the realisation of the Penguins being at the basement it has put me off and I do feel it is cruelty and should be in an open space. I wouldn't like to be stuck in a basement so why should they be. 

It is good to see a lake and a pond. I like to see the sunrise and would love to go up the the Downs one morning and watch the sunset. I love the Epsom Downs and plan to take a walk up there as there is a part where you can see London and it always gives me so much joy and pleasure.

England is a beautiful country and I am Proud to be English and there is always a place to go and visit.
